Larissa Ione

Hello everyone! LITERAL ADDICTION and Book Monster Reviews are very proud to welcome the incredible Larissa Ione to our sites today!

A veteran of the Air Force, Larissa traded in her career as a meteorologist to pursue her passion of writing. She now spends her days in pajamas with her computer, strong coffee, and supernatural worlds. She believes in celebrating everything, and would never be caught without a bottle of champagne chilling the fridge… just in case.

She currently lives in Wisconsin with her U.S Coast Guard husband, teenage son, a rescue cat named Vegas, and her very own hellhound, a King Shepherd named Hexe.

Larissa is the proud creator of the DEMONICA and LORDS OF DELIVERANCE series, and is one half of Sydney Croft (the other ½ being Stephanie Tyler), the creator of the ACRO novels. She also has some amazing single titles available. You can find her entire backlist HERE.

DEMONICA is a complete series with 5 titles and several related novellas. The reading order is: “Pleasure Unbound”, “Desire Unchained”, “Passion Unleashed”, “Eternity Embraced” (#3.5), “Ecstasy Unveiled”, “Sin Undone”, “Demonica: Overkill” (#5.4) and the “Supernatural” Anthology (#5.5).

LORDS OF DELIVERANCE has 3 installments currently – “Eternal Rider”, “Immortal Rider”, and “Lethal Rider” which was just released on 5/22/12. “Rogue Rider”, book #4, is due out on 11/22/12.

For those of you not yet familiar with Larissa’s work, we thought we’d give you the synopses for the available full-length books in those 2 series to get you up to speed.

“Pleasure Unbound” Book #1:

In a place where ecstasy can cost you your life …

She’s a demon-slayer who hungers for sensual pleasure-but fears it will always be denied her. Until Tayla Mancuso lands in a hospital run by demons in disguise, and the head doctor, Eidolon, makes her body burn with unslakable desire. But to prove her ultimate loyalty to her peers, she must betray the surgeon who saved her life.

Two lovers will dare to risk all.

Eidolon cannot resist this fiery, dangerous woman who fills him with both rage and passion. Not only is she his avowed enemy, but she could very well be the hunter who has been preying upon his people. Torn between his need for the truth and his quest to find his perfect mate before a horrific transformation claims him forever, Eidolon will dare the unthinkable-and let Tayla possess him, body and soul …

“Desire Unchained” Book #2:

Pleasure is their ultimate weapon …

Runa Wagner never meant to fall in love with the sexy stranger who seemed to know her every deepest desire. But she couldn’t resist the unbelievable passion that burned between them, a passion that died when she discovered his betrayal and found herself forever changed. Now, determined to make Shade pay for the transformation that haunts her, Runa searches for him, only to be taken prisoner by his darkest enemy.

A Seminus Demon with a love-curse that threatens him with eternal torment, Shade hoped he’d seen the last of Runa and her irresistible charm. But when he wakes up in a dank dungeon chained next to an enraged and mysteriously powerful Runa, he realizes that her effect on him is more dangerous than ever.

As their captor casts a spell that bonds them as lifemates, Shade and Runa must fight for their lives and their hearts-or succumb to a madman’s evil plans.

“Passion Unleashed” Book #3:

Serena Kelley is an archaeologist and treasure hunter-and a woman with a secret. Since she was seven, she’s been the keeper of a powerful charm that grants her health and immortality … as long as she stays a virgin. But Serena isn’t all that innocent. And when a dangerously handsome stranger brings her to the brink of ecstasy, she wonders if she’s finally met the one man she cannot resist.

Wraith is a Seminus demon with a death wish. But when an old enemy poisons him, he must find Serena and persuade her to give him the only known antidote in the universe-her charm. Yet, as she begins to surrender to his seductions and Wraith senses the cure is within his grasp, he realizes a horrible truth: He’s falling for the woman whose life he must take in order to save his own.

“Ecstasy Unveiled” Book #4:

Lore is a Seminus half-breed demon who has been forced to act as his dark master’s assassin. Now to earn his freedom and save his sister’s life, he must complete one last kill. Powerful and ruthless, he’ll stop at nothing to carry out this deadly mission.
Idess is an earthbound angel with a wild side, sworn to protect the human Lore is targeting. She’s determined to thwart her wickedly handsome adversary by any means necessary-even if that means risking her vow of eternal chastity. But what begins as a simple seduction soon turns into a passion that leaves both angel and demon craving complete surrender.
Torn between duty and desire, Lore and Idess must join forces as they battle their attraction for each other. Because an enemy from the past is rising again-one hellbent on vengeance and unthinkable destruction.

“Sin Undone” Book #5:

As the only female Seminus demon ever born, master assassin Sinead Donnelly is used to being treated like an outcast. She spent decades enslaved, and now vows she’ll die before she’ll relinquish her freedom again. Then Sin’s innate ability to kill her enemies goes awry: She creates a lethal new werewolf virus that sparks a firestorm of panic and violence.
Half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is charged with bringing in Sin to face punishment for the plague. And she’s no stranger: He’s bound to her by blood, and the one sexual encounter they shared has left him hungering for her raw sensuality. Worse, Sin is the underworld’s most wanted and Con soon learns he’s the only one who can help her … and that saving her life might mean sacrificing his own.

“Eternal Rider” Book #1:

They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

His name is Ares, and the fate of mankind rests on his powerful shoulders. If he falls to the forces of evil, the world falls too. As one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he is far stronger than any mortal, but even he cannot fight his destiny forever. Not when his own brother plots against him.

Yet there is one last hope. Gifted in a way other humans can’t-or won’t-understand, Cara Thornhart is the key to both this Horseman’s safety and his doom. But involving Cara will prove treacherous, even beyond the maddening, dangerous desire that seizes them the moment they meet. For staving off eternal darkness could have a staggering cost: Cara’s life.

“Immortal Rider” Book #2:

They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Arik Wagner, a soldier with the U.S. Army’s paranormal unit, the R-XR, kissed a girl and liked it. And then he went to hell as punishment. Where he’s spent weeks being tortured…and plotting revenge.

Limos, Horsewoman of the Apocalypse, isn’t your average girl. She’s immortal, dangerous, and her fiancé is Satan himself. In a moment of weakness, she gave in to her desire and kissed Arik, triggering her fiancé’s wrath – and his claim on her. In order to save Arik, and the world, Limos must make a dangerous pact with her recently turned evil brother, Pestilence. A deal that might just cost her her soul…and her heart.

“Lethal Rider” Book #3:

Demon-slayer Regan Matthews never imagined herself the maternal type, but with the fate of the world hanging in the balance she had no choice but to seduce Thanatos and bear his child. LITERAL ADDICTION/Book Monster Reviews: Hi Larissa! We’re so happy to have you here today. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to sit down and chat with us, we really appreciate it.

LARISSA: Thanks so much! It’s great to be here!

LITERAL ADDICTION/Book Monster Reviews: We always start out by getting to know our guest authors a little bit better.

Q1): Can you tell us 3 things about yourself that we couldn’t find out easily on the Internet?

LARISSA: Well, I can’t wear watches with batteries because my body has some sort of weird electrical/magnetic thing that burns out the batteries within a couple of days. I need to order a solar-powered watch one of these days. I also only shave one leg at a time…as in, one leg per shower. I know, strange, but I just don’t have the patience to do both at the same time! My third thing is really bizarre — I have this condition that makes me get really irritated/enraged when people cough. Not like, a cough or two, but constant coughing. It’s an actual rare medical condition, but I can’t remember the name of it. Anyway, my husband lives in fear when he has a cold…

Q2): What are 2 things that always make you smile, and 2 things that never fail to piss you off?

LARISSA: Baby animals always make me smile. Also, snow. I love snow. What pisses me off? Cruelty to animals enrages me. So do taxes. Oh, don’t get me started on taxes!

Q3): What are some of your hobbies and/or things that you enjoy doing when you’re not writing or taking care of other author business?

LARISSA: I love video games — RPGs in the style of Dungeons and Dragons are my favorite. I also love movies, reading, and taking my dog to the lake.

Q4): What are some of your favorite TV shows and movies?

LARISSA: I love science fiction and fantasy movies like anything Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. Such fun! My favorite TV shows are True Blood, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Drop Dead Diva, Master Chef, Food Network Star, Dexter, Gray’s Anatomy, and Supernatural.

Q5): If you could spend the day with any of your characters, with whom would you want to spend it, and what would you like to do?

LARISSA: Eidolon. I’d want him to show me around Underworld General. I’m fascinated by emergency medicine, so I’d love to watch him work! I could hang out with Shade or Con on ambulance runs, too!

Q6): What is a typical writing day like for you? Do you have a routine that you follow? Are there specific things that you have to have with you to get the creative juices flowing? Do you have any interesting writing quirks, etc?

LARISSA: I really have no typical writing day. I used to…until I got a dog. Now my schedule revolves around her hyperness. She’s a 100 lb King Shepherd with a TON of energy, so I can’t get any work done until she’s worn out. But basically, I sit down on my couch with my laptop and just try to work as I’m able. I work from the time I get up until the time I go to bed. I always have the TV on too…I need background noise, and music won’t work because I end up singing instead of writing.

Q7): Are there any authors and/or titles that you feel inspired you to become the writer you are today?

LARISSA: Stephen King. He really gave me the courage to take risks and go balls-to-the-wall with my writing. I don’t hold back, and sometimes that gets me in trouble.

Q8): Was there any specific inspiration behind the creation of the LORDS OF DELIVERANCE series?

LARISSA: Not really. I just always wanted to write about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and as I was working on Ecstasy Unveiled, I found the perfect spot for them!

Q9): Will “Rogue Rider” be the conclusion of the series or do you have others planned after (maybe a spin off)?

LARISSA: Rogue Rider will kick off Reaver’s book, which I believe will be called a Demonica novel. The two series are so intertwined that really, the LOD series is simply a continuation of the Demonica series. I think readers who are waiting for another Demonica book without having read the Lords of Deliverance series will be a little lost (and will be missing a HUGE chunk of important information) if they go straight from Sin Undone to Reaver’s book. I consider the LOD series to be Demonica books #6, #7, #8,& #9. Reaver’s book will be #10.

Q10): What were some of the challenges (research, literary, psychological, logistical, etc) in bringing the LORDS OF DELIVERANCE series to life?

LARISSA: I think the biggest challenge has been that all four books are so connected that they’re basically one big book, where the Demonica books were more stand-alone. The LOD series goes much deeper into the Demonica/LOD world and much deeper into mythology, so keeping everything straight was an issue.

Q11): Do you miss the DEMONICA series, or has it been enough to keep them alive by mentioning them in the LORDS OF DELIVERANCE books and your Anthology contributions?

LARISSA: Well, again, the two series are so intertwined that I was kind of always still with the Demonica series. Yes, the focus has been on the Horsemen, but all the characters have always been there. Now, people ask why I shifted to the LOD series instead of continuing on with Demonica, and the reason is really that I kind of needed a break from the hospital setting. I couldn’t think of where else to go, and the choice came down to getting stale and forcing a story, or shifting gears and going with something new. I went with new, but I wanted to stay in the same world. Now that I’ve done that, my mind is refreshed and I have more UGH stories in my head.

Q12): Your series have really become instant favorites with the readers. Is there anything in particular that you’re especially proud of with regards to what you’ve done to date?

LARISSA: You know, I’m proud of the fact that for the most part, readers trust me. They trust me to take characters they hate and redeem them. Oh, I’ve pissed off a few readers and lost a few others with some of the things I’ve written (the Regan/Thanatos plot in Immortal Rider, most notably), but for the most part, readers tell me they trust me to make sense of the plots and characters even if they aren’t sure how I’ll do it. I keep telling people — in the Demonica/LOD world, things are not EVER as they seem. Be patient — all will be revealed. :)

Q13): Do you have anything else in the works that you can share with your readers and fans?

LARISSA: Stay tuned — lots of fun stuff coming up, including (hopefully soon) a revised cover for Rogue Rider!

Q14): Is there a question you thought it would be great to be asked in an interview but have never been asked? How would you answer that question?

LARISSA: I can’t think of anything. Interviewers have been pretty thorough!

Q15): Would you like to say anything special to your readers while we have you here today?

LARISSA: Just…thanks for all your awesome support and reviews. Word of mouth is what sells books more than anything, and without that, I wouldn’t be able to keep writing in this incredible world. As long as readers are reading, I’ll keep writing!

LITERAL ADDICTION/Book Monster Reviews: Thank you so much again for being with us today. We’re honored to have you and can’t wait to chat with you a little bit more in the Live Chat later on. We’d absolutely love to have you back to promote & celebrate the release of Reseph’s book in December!

LARISSA: Thanks so much! I’d love to come back!

Larissa Ione: Hello? Am I here?
Larissa Ione: Oh, hey, there I am!
Pam R: HI!
jovial_1: Hi Larissa
Tamatha rogers: Hi
jovial_1: How was camping?
flchen1: Hi, Larissa! Happy Saturday!
Larissa Ione: Hi everyone!
Larissa Ione: Camping was great! I’m covered in mosquito bites, exhausted, and still have to unload the car, but we had fun!
Charity~Bewitching Bella: Hey Larissa :) Welcome to Literal Addiction
Pam R: :) and HOT!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Hey there!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Thank you SO much for taking time out of your holiday weekend to chat with us, we REALLY appreciate it!
flchen1: LOL! Sounds like a fun time was had by all :)
2jovial_1: Oh no - hate mosquitos
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Camping’s great. Getting ready to go and unloading when you get back… not so much
Squenn: Hi all! I made it!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I hope you had a S’More for me.
jovial_1: Did Hex have fun?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Hexe likes the water, yes??
Larissa Ione: Had lots of S’mores! And yes, Hexe had a GREAT time. She LOVES the water. More than any water dog I’ve known.
jovial_1: The worst part of any trip is unpacking and cleaning ;)
Larissa Ione: Def not looking forward to unpacking and cleaning the car. Brand new car is now filthy and smells like mildewed dog!
jovial_1: Now she’s going to want a bigger pool ;)
flchen1: We just aren’t very outdoorsy people—have yet to take the kids camping… I know—they are quite deprived ;)
Pam R: Poor car
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: So Larissa…. I know you were nervous about Lethal Rider, but I personally want to tell you that you outdid yourself and my expectations.
jovial_1: Yes, poor car
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: LOL
flchen1: :)
jovial_1: I agree - LETHAL RIDER was fantastic!
Larissa Ione: Aw, thanks, Chelle. I had a lot of work to do after pissing off so many people with Immortal Rider! *g*
flchen1: I can’t wait to get reading :)
jovial_1: It amazed me that people took things so poorly.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I used Mich’s review for the event today because I just couldn’t say everything I wanted to say in my review at midnight last night, but I promise it’ll be up everywhere very soon.
Pam R: :)
Larissa Ione: Yay, Chelle! And yeah, I was a little shocked at it too, jovial!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: O.K… poll time. Favorite Horseman/woman? Favorite demon from Demonica? Go.
jovial_1: It was as if they didn’t read that she drank the wine too and was drugged.
jovial_1: Wraith is MINE!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I’m a Wraith and Than girl myself. *sigh*
flchen1: Eidolon
Squenn: Fave Demon is Wraith, Fave Horseman is Than!
deannap: Wraith and Than
jovial_1: Larissa - I’ve been wondering if Wraith is like you at all ;)?
Larissa Ione: *waving to all the new people!*
Larissa Ione: Jovial…heh. I think he’s who’d I be if I were a male vampire. :)
Pam R: :)
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: So yeah… it’s liking asking you to pick a favorite child, but do you lean towards any one of the demons or horseman in particular Larissa?
jovial_1: I had that feeling ;)
Larissa Ione: Chelle, yeah, that’s a tough one! No true favorites, but I do have favorite characters to write. Wraith was SO fun to write. So was Reseph.
Squenn: Its the bad boy thing!
Larissa Ione: I also loved writing Immortal Rider. I had a blast with Arik.
deannap: You made me feel sorry for Reseph..I didn’t know if I could forgive him :)
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I can totally see Wraith being a blast to write. The snark! The smart-assitude. :) And Reseph… which was your favorite part to write. When he was good, bad, or struggling?
Charity~Bewitching Bella: is there a character u dont like writing?
jovial_1: Yup - gotta love those bad boys. But Wraith is so sarcastci too - just love him
Larissa Ione: I loved writing Reseph when he’s himself. Fun, easygoing.
Pickyme: Looking forward to his book!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I know we’re all anxious to see what you do with Rogue Rider. Any word on when we might see that revamped cover?
Larissa Ione: Charity, I really had a tough time with Ares. Not sure why…
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Maybe because he’s so serious?
jovial_1: Which book was the easiest to write?
Larissa Ione: Chelle, hoping to hear something this week. I’m DYING to see it.
Janet Juengling-Snell: How do you come up with the story lines…I’ve other autors say that the characters speak to them…
Larissa Ione: I think that’s EXACTLY why it was so hard to write Ares. I like to write heroes with a little humor, but Ares just didn’t call for it.
flchen1: Is there any story you’ve been especially sad to come to the end of? Or that you’d love to revisit or add to? Or do you generally feel satisfied when you wrap up each book?
Larissa Ione: Jovial, Wraith’s book was easiest. Followed by Sin Undone and Immortal Rider.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: We are too!!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: O.K, I’m going to jump in and moderate so we don’t overwhelm Larissa. Let’s let her answer up through Fedora’s question and then we can start asking again, kay!?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Fedora would be flchen1
Larissa Ione: flchen, I generally feel satisfied when each book is wrapped up. There are always changes I’d like to make in hindsight, but at the time I’m done, I’m done.
Charity~Bewitching Bella: sounds good
Larissa Ione: Oh, wait, what questions have I missed?
jovial_1 : You’ve paired up with Stephanie is there another author you may co-write with?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Well that was easy. LOL. You got them all. Feel free to ask more gang.
flchen1: Oh, I think Janet’s question about how you come up with storylines?
Larissa Ione: Janet, the storylines really just kind of come to me. Usually a couple of books before the book I actually write.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Right you are.
Janet Juengling-Snell: I’ve heard other authors say the same thing
Larissa Ione: Jovial, not in the near future. I’m not sure I’d even attempt writing with someone else. Stephanie is just so easy to write with.
Janet Juengling-Snell: Stephanie ?
Janet Juengling-Snell: I missed that part…
Pam R: What do you do when you get writers block?
Squenn: You two are a powerhouse!!
jovial_1: I can see why you Stephanie write well together.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I have a question… And this might be difficult, but… What drove you to make Limos so multi-dimensional. A bad-ass warrior but a major girly-girl. I thoroughly and utterly enjoyed delving into her insecurities in Immortal Rider. Insecurities I didn’t know she had.
jovial_1: I love her Dire Wolf series :)
Larissa Ione: Stephanie Tyler. I co-write with her under the name Sydney Croft
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Janet, the ACRO series.
Janet Juengling-Snell: AHHH…on the same page now…thanks
Larissa Ione: Chelle, it’s funny, I just thought about how very NOT girlie I was, and I see all my friends little girls who are SO girls, and I thought that maybe Limos, had she been born now, would be girlie. So I gave her that quality…in a way to soften her a little.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: :)
Janet Juengling-Snell: Limos was my favorite…
flchen1: Very cool!
Pam R: :)
Larissa Ione: Limos got to see how fun girl stuff has become over the centuries, and I figured she’d play with things like nail polish and stuff.
flchen1: Larissa, do you see writing in other genres, or is paranormal your niche/favorite?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I loved the references to her hawaiian clothing and nailpolish quirks. So outside the realm of someone who could potentially be crucial to the end of the world but so perfect.
Pam R: :)
jovial_1: I really enjoy Sin too. She’s one tough cookie :)
deannap: I loved Arik!
Squenn: I loved Sin too. She is awesome!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: As an extension of that question, and I don’t THINK I asked you this in the Q&A, but what about fantasy/para makes you love it and made you choose it?
Larissa Ione: flchen, I really love the paranormal. It’s where I really started reading when I was little. I love horror too, so I could see myself going there someday. Oh, and I plan to write a Star Trek book!
Tamatha rogers: Me to
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: *ears perk up* Reeallllyy.
jovial_1: When does Reaver learn about his past?
flchen1: Ooh, Star Trek??
Janet Juengling-Snell: Hubby and I are trekkies!!
flchen1: In an existing time/universe, or a new one in the Star Trek universe?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Please do.
Larissa Ione: Chelle, I think it’s that I can make my own rules, my own world, and I get to hang out with vampires. :)
deannap: Larissa, are you thinking about an angel spinoff series?
Tamatha rogers: Sound good
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: That seems to be the concensus when I ask that question, and also why I read it so I can totally relate.
Larissa Ione: I’m a HUGE Trekkie. Like, I even have a tattoo. I’ve met almost all the actors (old & next gen) and I used to dress up for conventions. am total dork.
flchen1: Oh, and do you read other genres for fun? Or do you prefer to stick with paranormal/scifi/horror?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Deanna, did you get a chance to read the Q&A yet? Reaver’s book is next but it will be shelved as a Demonica probably.
Larissa Ione: flchen - existing universe. Probably original cast.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: After Reseph’s of course
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I seriously love you even more!! The fact that you’re a fangirl like us. Totally endearing
flchen1: Ah—very cool—that’s the one I’m most familiar with—because my bro was a Trekkie, that’s what we watched all the time :) Kirk and Spock and Bones… good times ;)
Larissa Ione: deannap, not exactly…at least, not yet. I’m doing Reaver next, but not sure after that.
Pam R: I never got into Trek because I wasn’t given a choice my uncle made us watch it.
Larissa Ione: I know I’ve missed a gob of questions…
jovial_1 : Great - I have a feeling about him and Lilith
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Actually you didn’t miss many… Um….
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Do you read genres other than para for fun was one.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Actually that’s it
Pam R: I asked about writer block and what she did for it.
Larissa Ione: Oh…I read historical fiction! Love Sharon Kay Penman. Also, fantasy, like Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Thanks Pam, I thought she had anwered that. My bad.
Pam R: Np
Tamatha rogers: Do thinking there going to be more sisters in the demonic books
Pam R: With it so hot she might have.
Larissa Ione: Pam, I get it, mainly when I’m under a lot of stress. I have to back off and do nothing but watch TV or something for a while.
Charity~Bewitching Bella: Larissa have u read of Johanna Lindsey’s Historical Romance?
Pam R: Good idea
Larissa Ione: Tamatha, I don’t think so. Sin was such a big break of the “males only” rule, that I think I’d be pressing my luck to do it again.
Tamatha rogers: Ok
Larissa Ione: Charity, I have, but it’s been a while. My first romances as a reader were historical.
Charity~Bewitching Bella: same here
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Which book?
Pickyme: That is my ? How do you keep all the rules straight?
Charity~Bewitching Bella: Her books and beatrice Small’s are really the only ones I read now outside PNR and UF
Pickyme: Do you have a big notebook of rules and characters?
Larissa Ione: Pickyme, honestly, I’m not even sure. So much of it is in my head that I’m bound to screw up eventually!
Pam R: Who do you read for a light read with a good laugh
Pickyme: Lol
Tamatha rogers: Have you read any of roseann bittner books
Larissa Ione: Pam, to be honest, I don’t read funny books. For some reason, I tend to not like to read humor. I must be kind of a freak.
flchen1: LOL! Um, different strokes? :)
Pam R: I though maybe like Christopher Moore.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: You have your own unique sense of wit in your writing, I can sort of see why you wouldn’t want to read others if it’s not at least similar.
Larissa Ione: Tamatha, I haven’t
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: We know you’ve been super busy, but what was the best new release book you did get a chance to read recently?
Pam R: I agrre . We all have our styles of what we read.:)
Charity~Bewitching Bella: Larissa have you gotten ur solar powered watch yet?
Larissa Ione: And no, have’t gotten my solar watch. I need one though!
Larissa Ione: Chelle, yeah, my sense of humor runs to the sarcastic, so I’m not one for lighter or slapstick stuff.
Tamatha rogers: Their great
Pickyme: No… Larissa? Sarcastic?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: lol
flchen1: lol
Larissa Ione: Chelle, I’m reading Gena Showalter’s new angel book right now! Very good!
Pam R: I prefer the more Snarky stuff.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: :)
Squenn: I never would have guessed you could be sarcastic!
deannap: I started that this morning
Pickyme: Zachie is so hawt! I want a zach/Reaver sandwhich
Larissa Ione: Right, Squenn?
Larissa Ione: Mmm…Zach/Reaver sandwich…
Janet Juengling-Snell: mmmmm
Pam R: :} ;)
deannap: Yes please
Charity~Bewitching Bella: :)
Pickyme: ;)
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: When I read your answer to my question about a spin off series, etc I was happy to see that you see it as one big series, and the world is so amazing and immense you could go in so many directions now with the 2 overlapping. Do you think you’ll stick with this world for awhle, or can we maybe expect something else in addition from you in the not too distant future. ;-)
flchen1: Larissa, do you have an “ideas” file for stray inspirations that don’t relate to your current stories?
Larissa Ione: Chelle, you can expect something new soon. :)
Charity~Bewitching Bella : O good question flchen
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: *HAPPY DANCING*
flchen1: Ooh… something new???
2Pickyme: Oh! Yay!
Pam R: :} Don’t hurt yourself Chelle
Larissa Ione: flchen, I do! I have a ton of story ideas, including screenplay ideas. I open the file and play with the ideas every once in a while.
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: It’s a virtual happy dance, I can’t do much dancing right now. lol
Squenn: I love new stuff! I can’t wait!
Pam R: I know you. Always take it to the extreme.LOl
2Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: SO many of our favorite para authors are taking the YA plunge these days in parallel with our tried and trues. You may not be able to share, but…. is that something that you’re dabbling in as well?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: *blushes* Yeah… you DO know me.
Pickyme: I think I am the only one who does not read YA. I need dirty sex.
Pam R: :}
Larissa Ione: Well, I can share that it’s not YA. :)
Tamatha rogers: Lol
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: There are literally only a handful of YA series I can still do Picky. The rest are just…. yeah, no.
Squenn: I don’t read YA either, pickyme
Pam R: Some YA is very close to regular adult
deannap: I don’t read YA either
flchen1: Pam, that kind of bothers me—I prefer YA to be not so adult in theme.
Larissa Ione: I’m the same, pickyme. I can’t get into YA. Though I LOVE Ann Aguirre’s dystopian YA series. Very gritty.
Pickyme: Good! Because I get pressured by my friends all the time to read it. I just… Can’t!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I think I might be happy about that! While I would probably enjoy it because I simply love the way you write, without the snark and ‘adult’ content I’m not sure if I’d be quite as giddy
flchen1: I agree, Larissa—Ann’s YA is pretty knock-my-socks off
Pam R: It bother me too. With some girls today
Charity~Bewitching Bella: if I read a YA the story has got to be so gripping so that I can over look the need for dirty sex lol
deannap: Ditto
Pam R: ditto
Pickyme: I have a teen so, I think it freaks me out to read about it. Lol I don’t want to know…
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: The ones that I do still keep up with I call YA for the not so young adult. They really are more NC17+
Squenn: There is always a need for dirty sex!!
Pickyme: Lol
flchen1: lol squenn!
Tamatha rogers: Lol
Charity~Bewitching Bella: lol
Larissa Ione: :)
deannap: That is why I always follow UF with PNR
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Deanna, you and I are on the exact same wavelength.
Larissa Ione: I think that’s why I don’t read as much UF.
flchen1: Larissa, a silly question if that’s OK—what would you do if you won huge mega-lottery?
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: PNR isn’t always dark enough for me, but UF doesn’t always have enough hawntess
Pickyme: I rarely read UF too. I need a HEA
Charity~Bewitching Bella: not a silly question
deannap: Yep..I would miss Curran and Barrons
Charity~Bewitching Bella: I think everyone has a “if I won the lotto” list lol
Tamatha rogers: Go to ireland
Larissa Ione: I would do so much first-class travelling! And I’d buy a lot of property in the mountains.
Pam R: I am so eclicted. In the last week I read mystery, pnr ,horror, uf
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I call that my bucket list
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Pam, I read mashup, space opera, UF, horror, PNR and erotica in the last 2 weeksPickyme: A whole mountain… You could name it Demonica Peak! Lol
Larissa Ione: Chelle, that’s why I write my PNR so dark. I love the darkness of UF but miss it in romance.
flchen1: LOL!
Squenn : Wow, that’s alot Chelle
Charity~Bewitching Bella : lol pickyme love it
flchen1: Where would you want to go, Larissa?
Pam R: I forgot erotrica
Larissa Ione: Demonica Peak! LOL
deannap: There is a lot of angst with UF couples..I like that sometimes
Charity~Bewitching Bella: :)
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: And THAT Larissa, is why you are steadily in my top 5 authors and consistently an auto-buy
Squenn: Ditto
Larissa Ione: flchen, I’d go all over Europe. I LOVE Europe. If not for the troubles in the Middle East, I’d love to see Egypt too. Oh, and Japan. And Australia.
Pickyme: Total Auto buy for me too! Always!
deannap: Definately auto-buy
Larissa Ione: Aw…thanks!
flchen1: Those are on my list, too, Larissa—but there are some really scary spiders and snakes and stuff in Australia :(
Charity~Bewitching Bella: scottland is #1 on my list
Larissa Ione: Seriously, if it bites, stings, or cuts, it’s native to Australia. I’ll stay in the cities!
Charity~Bewitching Bella : lol
Pickyme: I don’t think I could get off a plane and step foot in Australia, agree… Everything deadly lives there
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: lol
Squenn: But really hot guys are in australia too!
flchen1: And the accents!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: My brother may be taking a job & moving to Aussie. I may have to go visit…
Larissa Ione: We’re hoping to go to Scotland next year. And Ireland, England, and then back to Germany.
Squenn: Love the accents!
Pam R: Scotland because I have friends there. I want to go see Nessie before i die.
Charity~Bewitching Bella: well if she wins the lotto she doesnt have to go to australia to see hot guys she can fly them to her lol
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: Oooh yeah, how was your trip? Everything you hoped for?
Squenn: Good point charity
Pickyme: Yep! Charity!
Larissa Ione: Had a GREAT time in Germany! I can’t wait to go back!
Pam R: :)
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: :)
Pickyme: How was the beer there? The best?!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: They serve it room temp though, don’t they??
Larissa Ione: The beer was freaking amazing!!!
Larissa Ione: Chelle, the beer was all cold. You find the room-temp beers more in the UK
Pickyme: I bet! I had a German Beer made by Mknks once. Sooo good

Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha : :)
Squenn: But the pink makes you a little girlie
Tamatha rogers: I like th

Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: I once had a $250 a shot scotch that they had to unlock from a little wooden box with a glass door behind the bar. SOOOO smooth. Arnold Palmer (the golfer) bought it for me.
Larissa Ione: Oh, wow — great story, Chelle!
Squenn: Check you out Chelle! Rockstar!
Chelle-LAs Pack Alpha: lol
